Patrick Bertoletti officially took over the title from reigning champ Joey Chestnut (who didn’t compete for the first time since 2005) on July Fourth when he ate a personal-best 58 hot dogs in 10 minutes to win the men’s title.
Miki Sudo ate 51 hot dogs and set a new women’s record, winning her 10th pink belt.
