Authorities have strictly restricted chopper flights near Regan Washington National Airport after a deadly midair collision between an American Airlines plane and a military helicopter Wednesday.
Investigations continue into the reason behind the crash as authorities scrutinize the helicopter’s altitude and path.
Thus far, black boxes of the two carriers have been found. Officials have also recovered 41 bodies of the 67 presumed dead from the accident.
Separately, a medevac plane carrying one child and five others on board crashed in Philadelphia.
