The US Coast Guard located the wreckage of a missing Cessna aircraft yesterday that vanished in Alaska on Thursday. The craft, operated by Bering Air, was carrying 10 passengers.

According to authorities, there are no survivors. The single-engine turboprop plane was traveling from Unalakleet and vanished across Alaska’s Norton Sound. The wreckage was located on sea ice.

This is the third deadly airplane crash in the country in less than two weeks.

It is one of the deadliest crashes in the state in 25 years.
