Zelensky warns no peace deal if Ukraine is not involved in talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that the country would not accept any peace deal negotiated without its involvement. “We cannot accept it, as an independent country,” he said.

Zelensky’s comments came a day after President Donald Trump said that a meeting between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin will occur soon.

Yesterday, Trump suggested it was possible that Ukraine may be barred entry into NATO and could see its borders redrawn.
