Catherine, Princess of Wales, finished her preventive chemotherapy and plans to return to royal duties gradually. In a video released Monday, the British royal shared her focus on recovery and said she will resume when possible.
“My path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” Catherine said.
The princess has been on sick leave since January. The 42-year-old mother of three was diagnosed with early-stage cancer following abdominal surgery.
Her return is a positive development for the royal family, especially after she and King Charles III faced health challenges this year.
Kensington Palace has yet to confirm her upcoming engagement.
