The United Auto Workers (UAW) union is planning to hold strike authorization votes against Jeep maker Stellantis for failing to uphold the automaker’s commitments following the historic 2023 work stoppage, announced UAW President Shawn Fain on Tuesday.

Fain claims Stellantis did not follow through on promises such as reopening a plant in Illinois.

The UAW has also filed federal charges against Stellantis for not sharing information about their plans.
