For example, the average salary for a back-end software developer in the US is around $130,000, while in the UK it is approximately $66,000. American businesses are also witnessing surging wages and staff shortages back home.
Big names like JPMorgan Chase and BlackRock are expanding their presence in cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh, creating thousands of jobs.
The shift, driven by tax incentives, depressed salaries and a weak currency, is giving the UK a much-needed boost post-Brexit. Remote work also fuels the trend, as skilled tasks can now be efficiently handled from Britain.
