Kanye West’s Instagram and Twitter accounts were locked after users criticized the rapper’s posts as anti-Semitic over the weekend.
The social media platforms said they have removed the posts.
Kanye, who goes by Ye, was locked out of his Instagram Friday, after which he turned to Twitter for the first time in two years.
West first tweeted a picture of him and Meta Platforms founder Mark Zuckerberg with a caption that read: “Look at this Mark How you gone kick me off instagram.”
He then posted a long tweet a part of which read that he was going “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE…”
The tweet was removed by Twitter on Sunday before the company locked the rapper’s account because it violated the micro-blogging platform’s policies against hate speech.
