Patrick Lyoya, a 26-year-old Black man—killed earlier this month by a Michigan police officer—was shot in the back of the head, independent forensic pathologist Werner Spitz said.
Spitz added no signs of struggle or bruises were found on the body other than the bullet wound.
The forensic pathologist was unsure about the caliber of the bullet that killed Lyoya but claimed it to be a powerful one.
