Zelensky Not in “Hiding”; Plans to Address the UK House of Commons

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to make a virtual address to the British House of Commons this afternoon.

He will be addressing the members of parliament via a video link, while formal parliamentary business will be suspended.

On Monday night, the Ukrainian president made a public appearance from his office in Kyiv via a video message stating to the world: “I’m not hiding. And I'm not afraid of anyone.”

Ukraine is on its 12th day of siege by the Russian forces and is facing heavy shelling.

The country has reported 13 deaths in Russian attacks on Makariv Bakery. 

According to reports, the country has suffered war damages of around $10 billion.
