Two weeks until Election Day, and more than 15 million people have already cast votes in the upcoming US election. Early voting records were broken in states like Georgia and North Carolina.
Georgia, a key battleground state, has seen over 1.5 million voters cast early ballots, with record-breaking daily numbers since polling opened.
North Carolina set a single-day record with over 353,000 ballots cast, while Louisiana saw nearly 177,000 voters on its first day.
Many voters continued the habits formed out of necessity during 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced people to vote by mail or early in person to avoid crowds.
