Republican JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz will meet Tuesday in the only vice presidential debate of the 2024 election, just weeks before Election Day.
The debate, hosted by CBS News in New York, begins at 9 p.m. ET and will be streamed across various platforms, including Paramount+.
The matchup allows both candidates to showcase their backgrounds while attacking each other and their party’s opponents.
According to a recent AP-NORC poll, only 25% of registered voters view Vance favorably, compared to 40% for Walz.
Key issues will include abortion rights, where Walz plans to emphasize personal stories and economic policies as both candidates highlight their middle-American roots.
