After three weeks of tension, Elon Musk’s X said it took steps to comply with orders given by the Supreme Court in Brazil, where the app was blocked from its more than 20 million users.
According to a Friday filing, X announced it appointed a local representative and blocked accounts accused of spreading misinformation.
Brazilian Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who ordered the X ban, responded with a new order, giving the social media company five days to submit additional documentation to legitimize its presence in the country.
