Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz beat Serbia’s Novak Djokovic in three sets to win his second consecutive Wimbledon title.

Alcaraz became the third-youngest man to win four Grand Slam singles titles in the Open era, behind only Mats Wilander and Bjorn Borg. He has a perfect record in major finals after his two Wimbledon wins, his French Open triumph last month and his US Open victory in 2022.

In the women’s finals, Czechia’s Barbora Krejcikova beat Italy’s Jasmine Paolini to win her first Wimbledon championship.

But that’s not all for Spain
The country’s national men’s team won the Euro 2024, their record fourth win, when they defeated England 2–1 on Sunday in Berlin.
