Samsung unveiled its much-awaited Galaxy Ring at an event in Paris yesterday. Priced at $400, it will be available on Amazon, Best Buy and Samsung starting July 24th.

This ring allows users to track their physical activity without adding another display to their bodies. It monitors sleep, heart rate, breathing and even menstrual cycles for women. Pairing it with a Galaxy Watch optimizes tracking.

Galaxy is the first smart ring, and according to the tech giant, it is water-resistant up to 100 meters and has a seven-day battery life. Its lightweight design and gesture control features, including a camera shutter click, enhance user experience.

The Korean company wants to create an ecosystem, much like Apple, of connected devices.
