Adobe also launched new AI models—Firefly Image Model 4, 4 Ultra, and a Firefly Video Model

Adobe plans to release a mobile version of its AI image generator, Firefly, for iOS and Android, aiming to compete with OpenAI’s visual tools.

Announced at the MAX creativity conference in London, Adobe aims to make Firefly a creative assistant for users on the move.

The creative software company also launched new AI models—Firefly Image Model 4, 4 Ultra, and a Firefly Video Model—capable of producing hyper-realistic, IP-safe content from text prompts.

Adobe also introduced Firefly Vector for editable logos and icons and made its Firefly video model available to all, allowing users to generate 1080p clips from text or images.

Facing rising competition, Adobe has partnered with OpenAI, Google and Runway to boost Firefly.

While OpenAI’s viral image generator melts GPUs with high demand, Adobe remains confident that competition will drive innovation across the industry.
