Spotify is increasing the prices of its Premium, Duo and Family plans in the US once again in under a year.

From July, users will be charged $11.99 per month for Premium (up from $10.99), $16.99 for Duo (up from $14.99), and $19.99 for Family (up from $16.99).

Subscribers in the US will receive an email explaining what this update means for their subscription.

The Swedish audio-streaming giant states these price updates are necessary to continue investing in and innovating their product features and user experiences. The company is heavily investing in audiobooks.

It gained 4 million paying subscribers and 30 million active monthly users between 2022 to 2023.

Subscription rates of Spotify competitor Apple Music start at $10.99 per month.
