Paul Sorvino is dead. If you don't know who that is, he’s Paulie Cicero in the 1990 mobster classic ‘Goodfellas’—the middle-aged dope who said, “I don't want any more of that shit.”
Sorvino died at 83 of natural causes at his home in Indiana, his publicist Roger Neal said Tuesday.
Largely known for his portrayals of a cop or a gangster, Sorvino was only once nominated for a Tony Award in his 52-year acting career.
“There will never be another Paul Sorvino,” his wife Dee Dee said while calling him one of the “greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage.”
