President Donald Trump said he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday and added that after a “highly productive phone call,” they’d agreed to begin negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
Later, the same day, Trump called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to inform him of the discussion with Putin.
Zelensky is set to meet with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday at a defense summit in Munich.
